Surroundings of the hotel

The dominant feature of Vsetín is a 17th-century château that organizes various exhibitions and hosts annual Templar festivals in August. The château also boasts a 60-meter observation tower providing a spectacular view of the entire town.

In the summer months, you can take advantage of the swimming pool near Průmyslovka, the Sokolák pool, or the natural lake Balaton in Nový Hrozenkov.

You can hike up to the Vartovna lookout tower, a 37-meter-high circular steel lookout tower, situated on the border between the villages of Seninka, Jasenná, and Liptál. The unique metal structure shaped like a spiral offers panaromic views of the Vizovicke vrchy (Vizovice Hills), the Beskydy Mountains, and the Great Fatra mountain range.

Pustevny is a highly attractive destination for outings in all weather conditions. You can reach Radhost by a cable car, or hike there, or cross-country ski in winter, or cycle during summer. Pustevny is a beloved tourist center in the Beskydy mountains, and the statue of the god Radegast is a well-known symbol of the entire Moravian-Silesian region. The wooden buildings of Libušín and Maměnka built in the folk style notably outstand on Pustevny. These buildings were designed by the renowned Slovak architect Dušan Jurkovič.

Zlín Zoo in Lešná is considered the most beautiful zoo in the Czech Republic. You can travel all over the world in one day at this Zoo. During a walk through the Zlín Zoo, you will pass through Africa, Asia, Australia, America and the surroundings of the château with a possibility to see and pet rays or visit a tropical Yucatan Hall. You can relax and enjoy a train ride from the down part to the upper part of the Zoo.

Castle Helfštýn, an impressive fortified castle complex from the 16th century, features towers, bastions, and courtyards. It offers exhibitions on blacksmithing and archaeological artifacts, as well as newly introduced guided night tours of the castle.

The Wallachian Open Air Museum is the oldest and largest open-air museum in Central Europe. It consists of three separate areas - Wallachian Village, Wooden Town and Mill Valley. Here you will find original houses and objects from all corners of Wallachia.
